Chen Hsong Holdings Limited (“Chen Hsong” or the “Group”; HKEX: 00057), one of the largest manufacturers of injection moulding machines in the world, has been keeping a close watch on the development of COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. Recently, the Group has teamed up with Chiang Chen Industrial Charity Foundation to donate a total of 87,300 face masks and 5,440 protective goggles to the Hospital Authority (“HA”) to support the anti-pandemic measures undertaken by the HA.
Chen Hsong has always been eager to fulfil its social responsibilities, and hopes to make an effort to contribute to the anti-COVID-19 measures. Since the beginning of this year, the Group has received urgent orders from many manufactures of medical products. To render support to the anti-COVID-19 efforts, the Group has expedited its production in full swing since the resumption of production in February, and adopted the state-of-the-art moulding technology to secure and speed up the supply of medical items.
