(From left to right:) Bettina Steuber (CFO of PSG) and Udo Fuchslocher (CEO of PSG), together with Guntram Meusburger (CEO of Meusburger), are looking forward to a successful partnership. |
Since the middle of June, it's official: Meusburger takes over the PSG Plastic Service GmbH which is located in Mannheim, Viernheim and Seckach and has a foreign branch in China. The Austrian company is the leading manufacturer of high-precision, high-quality standard parts and is, like PSG, a family company with a long tradition. All of PSG's about 200 employees are taken over.
'We are pleased to welcome the employees of PSG in the Meusburger family. With the takeover we have taken on board a strong partner with many years of experience in hot runner and control systems. We will continue to operate the company under the established PSG brand', says Guntram Meusburger, Managing Director of Meusburger Georg GmbH & Co KG. After more than 50 years of successful company’s history, the existing shareholder of the PSG is very glad to have with Meusburger a family company as the new owner, which can also secure a long-term future of the PSG.
Growing together successfully
Standard parts like those produced by Meusburger are an important part of the value chain in die and mould making. 'Like PSG, Meusburger has been a powerful partner for companies in the industry for more than 50 years. Together, we will continue to grow successfully and expand our range of products and services as a reliable partner for die and mould making', Guntram Meusburger adds. The turnover of PSG Plastic Service GmbH amounted to about 27 million Euros in 2015.
