KRAIBURG TPE has been named a top performer in a comparison of companies by the two competence centers of RWTH Aachen University, placing it among the top 19% of participating companies. The basis of the ranking is the embedding of diverse Circular Economy aspects at the participating companies, categorized into closed loop, digitalization, implementation, data collection and indicators. In particular, KRAIBURG TPE was able to position itself clearly in the area of "closed loops" and achieved very good ratings with regard to supply chain cooperation, return systems, reprocessing and recycling processes, and the handling of waste and rejects.
The data collection took place in spring 2022 and was carried out by RWTH Aachen University or the two competence centers of the technical university, the Center for Circular Economy (CCE) and the Center for Systems Engineering (CSE).
These areas are integral to the company's sustainability developments and are continuously improved, so KRAIBURG TPE team members are pleased that their initiatives are reflected in the good result. KRAIBURG TPE will continue to focus on expanding these areas in the future in order to offer more sustainable solutions for all market segments - directly and indirectly, from the product world to services, but also in internal development, e.g. in reaching climate targets.
