The participating toolmaking companies are evaluated on the basis of various key figures from the areas of finance, customers, products, processes, resources, organisation, strategy and management. Benchmarking provides participants with important insights into their strengths and weaknesses in comparison with the industry as a whole. BMW Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH from Krauthausen qualified as the overall winner of this year's EIP in Germany. The toolmaker impressed the jury with its holistic strategic positioning, high process maturity and exceptional innovative strength.
