During the trade fair, the BOY 80 Electric demonstrated its capabilities in the live production of blood filters for the medical technology sector. The application impressively highlighted the advantages of the electromechanical injection moulding machine: cycle time optimisation through parallel motion, a highly dynamic injection process, high repeatability, precise motion sequences, and stable, clean production under demanding conditions. In particular, the combination of an energy-efficient drive concept, simultaneous movements and an electric ejector impressed numerous visitors.
Francesco Valsecchi of ST.A.TE Technologies sums up: “MECSPE was a very successful trade fair for us. The BOY 80 Electric attracted a great deal of interest. Overall, many companies visited our booth and we were able to draw up a good number of quotations. Many of the visitors came from central and southern Italy.”
The positive response confirms the growing interest in energy-efficient, electro-mechanical injection moulding solutions in the Italian market. BOY and ST.A.TE Technologies see this as a solid foundation for further expanding their collaboration with existing customers and initiating new projects in Italy.
