Two machines from the BOY portfolio were demonstrated live at the stand. Espresso cups were produced on the BOY 20 E PRO in collaboration with Alfarben.
At the same time, a BOY 35 Electric was used to produce pen covers made from PP PHC 27 material with a cycle time of 16 seconds.
BOY and Centrotécnica have drawn a thoroughly positive conclusion. Their presence at the trade fair provided numerous opportunities for in-depth technical discussions with decision-makers and those responsible for investment in the plastics industry. The keen interest in the technologies on display led to many promising contacts and opened up attractive prospects for future projects and partnerships.

The high level of interest in energy-efficient and sustainable production technologies was particularly encouraging. Electromechanical injection moulding machines, in particular, were the focus of many discussions. Visitors showed a marked increase in interest in solutions that reduce energy consumption, improve process stability and, at the same time, boost productivity.
Marcos Duran, CEO of Centrotécnica, draws a positive conclusion: “Equiplast 2026 was an excellent platform for connecting with high-quality customers and generating new business opportunities. It became clear that sustainability and productivity remain among the plastics industry’s top priorities.”
With the applications on display and the numerous technical discussions, BOY once again made a strong statement at Equiplast 2026 regarding the combination of innovative machine technology, energy efficiency and sustainable plastics processing.
