ARBURG’s presentation at the world’s leading plastics trade fair K 2019 from 16 to 23 October 2019 in Düsseldorf will centre on the themes of digitalisation and the circular economy. With “arburgXworld” and “arburgGREENworld”, ARBURG will deliver answers to important and pressing questions for the multifaceted world of plastics processing and use.

Industry visitors will find out how ARBURG has traditionally pioneered engagement with key topics for the future, learn about its answers to current questions and see the specific practical solutions it offers. The primary goal is to conserve resources and so make a significant contribution to production efficiency. Numerous new machines, processes and digital products and services are helping achieve this.
Cutting-edge exhibits and applications
“As the industry’s leading trade fair internationally, the K show is the most important forum for presenting important new visions and innovations. Every three years, the plastics world looks to Düsseldorf to see where the future will take us,” says Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and spokesman for the ARBURG Management Board, explaining the value of the K show for ARBURG. At K 2019, ARBURG will be showing various options for making better use of recyclable plastics, manufacturing plastic items efficiently and conserving resources using cutting-edge exhibits and applications.
Digitalisation and the circular economy
“We are addressing the two really crucial issues of our age: digitalisation and the sensible use and recycling of plastics,” says Juliane Hehl, Managing Partner responsible for marketing and technology, explaining the dual approach. On the digitalisation side, ARBURG will be exhibiting innovations in its digital product and services offering, such as the filling assistant and the plasticising assistant, as well as the enhanced connectivity of the ALLROUNDER. The customer portal also has new apps and functions. “We very much welcome the fact that the circular economy is such an important topic at K 2019,” adds Juliane Hehl, explaining how protection of the environment and the conservation of resources are.
