As an internationally leading expert in the development and production of high-quality standard components, HASCO works very closely with tool and mould designers. The aim is to implement technical and service innovations that simplify the design process, optimise efficiency and improve part quality.

Close contact and discussions form the basis for the continual further development and strengthening of the sector. In addition to stands at trade fairs and visits by field staff, HASCO attaches great importance to personal contact with designers at the Designer Days it organises worldwide.

HASCO Internorm organised three Designer Days in 2019. The series started with a meeting of designers and mouldmakers at the British Motorbike Museum in Birmingham. The HASCO Sales Team organised this exciting event in cooperation with the Plazology and Hexagon companies and the Visi Team.

The focus was on simplifying and optimising mould and toolmaking employing HASCO innovations from the standard component, hot runner technology and the HASCO Portal. Amongst all the specialist topics with interesting highlights, a prize draw was also staged, sponsored by Hexagon. Trevor Allen of SynthoTec in Malvern won two tickets for the British Super Bike and a VIP lunch with the Honda Team.

As a HASCO Internorm representative in Ireland, Noel Delaney organised the second Designer Day at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Sligo, Ireland. Here again, he was supported by Hexagon and the Visi Team as partners. A large number of customers came and were delighted at the many new features in the HASCO Portal and the new options for integrating native data in the CAD zone.

The third Designer Day organised in 2019 was held at Citywest in Dublin with presentations from the cooperation partners Plazology, Wittmann Battenfeld and Solid Solutions. The many product innovations that had been presented at the K fair in Düsseldorf met with a great deal of interest too. In addition to the product and digital innovations, interest focused especially on the new HASCO 64-cavity hot runner system. Tony Briggs, as a new HASCO Hot runner technical sales engineer, was introduced to all those who attended.

The consistent success and excellent experience acquired with the HASCO Designer Days in the past is prompting further expansion of these activities and the staging of additional live occasions. Working with different partners, HASCO will be engaging worldwide in more intensive discussions and technical talks with designers and mouldmakers at workshops and presentations in 2020 too.
