Tederic efficiently delivers to Electrolux Brazil project

Tederic efficiently delivers to Electrolux Brazil project

Сase studies

Electrolux, a global leader in the home appliance industry, recently announced the successful commissioning of 8 Tederic injection molding machines at its Brazilian production site. The delivered NEO•T and NEO•HII series machines are now driving the mass production of key components for refrigerators and fans. With strong customization capabilities and reliable performance that exceeded industry standards, Tederic earned high recognition from Electrolux for its exceptional delivery and technical execution.

1. Strategic Partnership Formed in Just Two Months
Founded in 1901, Electrolux is a century-old leader in both consumer and professional appliances, selling over 40 million products annually in more than 150 countries. With deep roots in Europe and North America, Electrolux has recently experienced strong growth in South America — its revenue in the region grew by 20%, and its market share reached 29%, particularly excelling in refrigeration. Latin America has now become a core growth engine for the brand.

In August last year, Electrolux initiated contact with Tederic Brazil, expressing interest in purchasing 8 injection molding machines. Just two months later, in October, a delegation of nine global executives from Germany, Italy, and Brazil visited Tederic’s Giga Factory in China. After an in-depth evaluation of Tederic’s production capabilities, R&D strength, and overall capacity, the team expressed strong confidence in the company. The project in Brazil advanced smoothly, and this efficient engagement helped Tederic quickly become a strategic partner — winning the trust of a world-leading brand in record time.

2. Overcoming 60+ Customization Challenges to Build an Industry-Leading Safety Shield
The main challenge of this project lay in Electrolux’s extensive safety-related customization demands. The company proposed nearly 70 deep customization requests across injection, clamping, hydraulic, and electrical systems — about half of which involved safety features. This level of customization is rare in the industry and places high demands on Tederic’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

To tackle this turnkey challenge, Tederic assembled a dedicated team of experts from its global R&D center and local Brazil office. The team worked closely with Electrolux from the early project stages, engaging in high-frequency communication and continuous optimization of technical solutions. With complex requirements such as multi-brand component integration, intricate circuits, and advanced central control logic, the team overcame numerous engineering hurdles and delivered a fully systematic safety solution:
• Enhanced Core Protection: Each machine was equipped with four programmable safety relay systems.
• Unified Smart Control: A centralized control hub was built to integrate external safety hardware into a single safety relay system — capable of managing over 20 critical safety components simultaneously.
• Improved Emergency Response: The number of emergency stop buttons per machine increased from the industry average of three to seven.

3. Record 70-Day Delivery Sets New Efficiency Benchmark
The full delivery cycle was strictly limited to 70 days — a tight schedule for such a deeply customized project. Tederic demonstrated outstanding efficiency both in manufacturing and on-site execution:
• Efficient Production and Shipment: A standard NEO•HII machine typically requires around 50 days for delivery, and deeply customized machines often take longer. This order included 5 highly customized units. With precise scheduling and optimized workflows at its Giga Factory, Tederic overcame significant challenges to deliver all machines on time and of high quality — setting a new industry benchmark.
• Rapid On-Site Implementation: After arrival in Brazil, Tederic's local service team immediately began installation and commissioning. They also worked closely with Electrolux on utilities and site planning, ensuring a smooth integration into the production line.

Thanks to this successful collaboration, Electrolux placed a follow-up order last month for additional NEO•HII machines and auxiliary equipment to support its production line expansion. This marks a transition from initial technical cooperation to deep strategic trust, with Tederic proving its ability to support Electrolux’s global growth with both advanced technology and scalable capacity.
