ARBURG presents new robotic system

ARBURG presents new robotic system

News 11.01.2016
37778 270a micro injection unit multilift 3 1

The MULTILIFT H 3+1 is the new, compact solution for automating ARBURG's ALLROUNDER injection moulding machines. The horizontally operating robotic system with additional auxiliary arm can simultaneously remove moulded parts and sprues. This is particularly interesting for three-platen moulds and micro and nano injection moulding.

Powerful technology for low weights
The new robotic system is available with immediate effect for the electric ALLDRIVE machines up to a distance between tie bars of 370 x 370 mm and a clamping force of 600 kN. It is configured for handling weights of 3 kg (main arm) and 1 kg (auxiliary arm). Both arms extend and retract in and out of the mould servo-electrically. This ensures rapid, process-reliable removal with short mould-entry times. Also key here is the central SELOGICA control system, which allows synchronisation of robot and machine movements.

System solution for micro components
Combining the robotic system MULTILIFT H 3+1 with electric injection moulding machines from the ALLDRIVE series creates the perfect basis for a micro components system solution. This can be complemented with a micro injection unit or a micro injection module as well as laminar flow boxes above the working area and enclosed guarding in transparent PC to complete the system.
