Over the past two years, the companies Muller, CBW and Dollins have integrated well under the umbrella of the Mold & Robotics Group and were able to expand their positions in the market as forward-looking and innovative companies. The Group has recently announced that as of January 1, 2019 the responsibilities as CEO of the Mold & Robotics Group will be transferred from Udo Grober to the former Sales & Marketing Director Thomas Federer. Udo Grober will not depart from the company but will remain on the Board of Directors and will focus on strategic development for the future growth of the company.
Like Udo Grober, Thomas Federer has been with the company for many years. Both began their careers - "from the bottom up" - with an apprenticeship as toolmaker respective tool designer and later added a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and a B&A postgraduate degree. Udo Grober, former owner of Muller, took over the function as CEO of Mold & Robotics Group in February 2017.
Thomas Federer has been with the company for over 20 years and most recently held the position of Sales & Marketing Director. As a long-time "second in command" in management, he knows the technology and the customers like no other. The transfer of the operational management to Mr. Federer, as CEO, is now a logical step that can be taken without major changes or any disruption to the operations.
