For the launch of the new BOY 125 E injection moulding machine on the US market, BOY Machines Inc. is going to organize an in-house exhibition. BOY Machines Inc. has been the affiliate of the German machine manufacturer BOY since 1974. In addition to the BOY 125 E (1250 kN clamping force) many new developments and interesting applications will be presented from 9th to 11th April.
In the completely renovated technical centre of BOY Machines (BMI), a total of six different machine sizes demonstrate their performance in different areas of application. With regard to the subject Silicone processing BMI presents a BOY XXS with LSR pump and a BOY 35 E on which baby-bottle nipples are produced. On the first day of the in-house the machine demonstrations will be supplemented by lectures of well-known specialists on the key topic of liquid Silicone and Elastomer processing.
On the second day, the focus will be on Thermoplastic-processing in practice and theory. In addition, interesting applications on a BOY 25 E with integrated picker as well as the overmoulding of Thermoplastics on a vertical BOY 35 E VV are planned. The new BOY 125 E attracts attention with a practical multi-component application. In combination with the injection unit 2C S the largest BOY injection moulding machine produces coffee cups made of NAS with TPE-coating. Due to the integrated BOY-removal handling the compact application works fully automated. The Handling BOY LR 5 removes the cups injected from the mould and places them on a conveyor belt.
The third day of the in-house exhibition is all about application technology.
The topics of this day are:
- Machine demonstrations
- Process optimization for the processing of special materials
- Control technology of the BOY injection moulding machines (especially their setting options for special sequences with the ALPHA 4 control)
Michael Kleinebrahm, Head of BOY Application Technology from Neustadt-Fernthal, will be on site to support our American affiliate BMI.
"We are proud that we can take this opportunity to introduce our capabilities and to meet customers' requests for form and material tests in our recently renovated and expanded showroom, where the various models can be presented," Marko Koorneef, President of BMI puts this in a nutshell. "The modernised showroom and the redesigned office area allow us to further enhance the efficiency of our organization and to meet the needs of the growing business."
