Electric machines and automation solutions in demand

ALLDRIVE ALLROUNDERs produce precision parts
An ALLROUNDER 470 A will be demonstrating the performance capacity of the electric high-end series ALLDRIVE at the ARBURG stand. Pump heads for use in the medical technology sector, for example, each weighing 1.0 g are produced in a cycle time of some 25 seconds. The inner core of the complex part is demoulded with a stripper plate via the ejector system, the side cores when the mould is opened. The MULTILIFT SLECT robotic system removes the injection moulded parts and transfers them to a tube system so that they are supplied separated according to cavity.
Two further electric ALLDRIVE machines with LSR applications will be on display at the stands of our partners Elkem and M.R. Mold & Engineering.
“arburgXworld”: digital products and services
At Plastec West 2020, experts from ARBURG will be presenting the new “arburgXworld” customer portal, which is available internationally in 18 languages. The experts will be showing interested parties numerous functionalities that make everyday digital injection moulding that little bit easier. The basic version of the portal has four free apps: Machine Center, Service Center, Shop, and Calendar. In addition to these there are fee-based apps, which offer users considerable added value. The entire range of digital products and services – also including the numerous assistance functions for example – are brought together by ARBURG in its “arburgXworld” programme.
