ARBURG has been represented in Taiwan since 1981. The fully-owned organisation in Taichung officially began to operate on 1 April 2016. Subsidiary manager Michael Huang and eight employees will now provide even better support to customers in Taiwan.
New infrastructure in Taichung
"At our modern subsidiary, we will be offering a showroom with three ALLROUNDERs for testing and trails, facilities for customer training and a comprehensive spare parts store on a total floorspace of around 550 square metres," explains subsidiary manager Michael Huang. "We are also placing great emphasis on comprehensive application technology consulting and a wide variety of service offerings."
Expansion of presence in Asia
With its numerous high-tech companies in the electronics and medical technology industries for example, Taiwan is an innovative injection moulding market in which ARBURG has been active for 35 years, previously through a trading partner. In total, the company is now represented with eight fully-owned organisations in China, Hong Kong and the ASEAN countries. The new subsidiary in Taiwan will act as a bridge to South-East Asia enabling us to effectively support our customers from Taiwan in their internationalisation efforts.
