YASKAWA and VIPA have been active on the Polish market for many years, not only through sales partners and systems integrators, but also with their own sales team. Current market data shows that the company’s control, drive and robotics products are very popular among Polish customers. Expanding the local services that the company offers is an important milestone in YASKAWA’s strategy for increasing its presence in Europe. Founding YASKAWA Poland is part of YASKAWA’s expansion strategy for Europe.
Manfred Stern will head up YASKAWA Poland as the managing director. Mr Stern is CEO and President of YASKAWA Europe, as well as Corporate Vice President of Yaskawa Electric Corporation. Business unit managers for the Robotics, Drives&Motion and Controls divisions will take on operational business.
