At the Plastpol show in Kielce, Poland, to be held from 17 to 20 May 2016, ARBURG will be presenting the new GOLDEN ELECTRIC series. A hybrid ALLROUNDER will also demonstrate a complex application for the packaging sector.
Fully developed technology – high quality
"The Plastpol is set to be the most important trade fair for the plastics industry in Poland. As a premium manufacturer, we are aware of a growing preparedness among our customers to invest in well-developed technology and high machine quality," says subsidiary manager Dr. Slawomir Sniady. "The new ALLROUNDER GOLDEN ELECTRIC series continues the success story of the GOLDEN EDITION hydraulic series and expands our product range to include high-performance electric entry-level machines for precise, energy-efficient production of complex moulded parts. Thanks to consistent standardisation, it offers an excellent price/performance ratio."
Production-efficient applications
The four new electric machine sizes have a fixed combination of distance between tie-bars, clamping force and clamping unit size. An ALLROUNDER 570 E GOLDEN EDITION with 2,000 kN clamping force and a size 800 injection unit will produce two CD trays in a cycle time of around 15 s at the Plastpol 2016. Handling will involve a MULTILIFT SELECT linear robotic system. The second example application involves flip-top closures for the packaging sector. These will be produced on a hybrid high-performance ALLROUNDER 720 H with a 16-cavity mould from Polish company ZPTS Witoplast in a cycle time of around 12 s.
