In response to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the organizers of TaipeiPLAS and ShoeTech Taipei, TAITRA and TAMI, have announced to cancel the in-person exhibitions this year, originally scheduled from September 28 to October 2. TaipeiPLAS & ShoeTech Taipei DigitalGo, which aims to link up a series of digital events and online exhibition, will be officially launched instead and run from September 28 to October 28.
TaipeiPLAS, Taiwan’s largest and the one and only plastics & rubber industry international trade show, takes place every two years in Taipei. At each TaipeiPLAS, nearly 500 exhibitors in 1,700+ booths showcase their latest products, technology and innovations that attract more than 20,000 visitors at home and abroad. ShoeTech Taipei started to be held concurrently with TaipeiPLAS since 2018, the 16th edition of TaipeiPLAS.
Though 2021 TaipeiPLAS and ShoeTech Taipei will not be set up in a physical format as usual due to the pandemic, a brand-new online event “TaipeiPLAS & ShoeTech Taipei DigitalGo” has been well-prepared to serve the local and foreign companies interested in taking the advantage of digital technology to enhance exposure and create opportunities online.
TaipeiPLAS & ShoeTech Taipei DigitalGo provides tailored services, including virtual display, advertorial or video campaign on the shows’ websites and social media network, new product presentations, an online forum on trending topics, etc, to maximize the publicity of participating companies with their featured products. Moreover, TAITRA will host customized one-on-one online procurement meetings to match demand and supply needs for both parties.
The application kit and package pricing for TaipeiPLAS & ShoeTech Taipei DigitalGo will be available on the official websites by mid-July, 2021. TAITRA and TAMI look forward to consolidating the industry just as it has always done at physical shows.
The next edition of physical TaipeiPLAS and ShoeTech Taipei will return in 2022 from September 27 to October 1.
