The 2022's edition of PlastIndia, which was to be held from 17 to 21 February in New Delhi, has recently been rescheduled to a later date.
The 11th instalment of Plastindia was originally supposed to take place in February 2021 but was postponed by a year due to the coronavirus, and the Covid-19 situation on the subcontinent remains tense. The new dates have already been announced: 1 to 5 February, 2023.
The last Plastindia, held in 2018, reported 1,800 exhibitors – 550 of them from abroad – and around 246,000 visitors from 44 countries. This makes Plastindia the second largest plastics trade fair in Asia after Chinaplas.
The decision was taken by the organizers together with the fair’s partners to ensure safety and health for exhibitors, visitors and staff, as well as to prevent and avoid any problems that may arise due to the still difficult situation related to restrictions on international travels in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
