Gislaved is the latest Rosti facility to be awarded the certification which will allow the company to work closer with customers who are conscious of the CO2 impact of their products and want total transparency of the CO2 impact of the complete supply chain.
These new mass balanced materials (a mix of virgin and recycled material) are helping to further reduce the CO2 footprint of the products compared to traditional materials. Rosti currently produces caps and closures, cans for oral tobacco, dispensing systems as well as other types of food packaging in Sweden.
Rosti Sweden has aligned processes to meet the ISCC Certification requirements to ensure there is full traceability of materials from source to end consumer.
This is an important step as the customers are increasingly looking at ways of becoming more environmentally friendly as a result of their customers wanting to purchase from sustainable brands. Rosti is pleased to be able to help food packaging customers reduce the CO2 impact of their products as the company moves towards a circular economy.
