Falcon Plastics is excited to announce the company has completed the installation of a new injection molding machine in the Lexington facility. This brings the total press count to 24 injection molding machines in Lexington. The need for a new machine stems from consistent new orders, an increased demand of current products, and new programs that are coming online later this year.
This press is a 550 metric ton machine (or 610 ton US). The company looked at several different manufacturers for injection molding machines at the time and ended up choosing Bole. This is the first machine of this brand that Falcon has purchased. The Lexington team will begin running trials on the new machine this week, beginning the evaluation process. This press will also have a Star robot installed for automation.
