News 10.11.2022

AON3D, a company focused on making high temperature additive open and accessible, announced a new revision of the AON M2+ 3D printer, which will be newly certified and bear TÜV SÜD (C, US), CE, and RCM markings. With these new certifications, coupled with strong customer success and momentum in North America, AON3D is excited to expand sales of the AON M2+ globally starting this year

Financing Background

“With open access to high-performance polymers, engineers are applying additive in some of the most demanding applications imaginable,” AON3D Co-Founder Kevin Han said, “Expanded AM utility has been helping our customers move faster, save hundreds of thousands of dollars, and fueling much of AON3D’s growth”, ”Our plan now is to make this accessible to a global market.”

AON M2+ Improvements & Safety Certifications
The AON M2+ began shipping in mid-2021, garnering many big-name customers, including NASA, Tesla, Samsung, Medtronic, the United States Army / Air Force / Department of Veterans Affairs / Department of Energy, and many others.

AON3D has partnered with TÜV SÜD to certify the new AON M2+ to applicable CSA, UL, and CE standards. The machine will join a select few high temperature 3D printers that conform to the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EEC) and may correctly bear the CE mark, as opposed to those which only conform to the Low Voltage Directive.

In addition, the machine will bear the TÜV SÜD (C, US) marking for Canadian and US markets, the RCM mark for Australia and New Zealand, and conforms to IEC 61010, IEC 60204, ISO 12000:2014, and ANSI/UL 61010-1:2017 standards.

New features include a build volume interlock, liquid-resistant electronics enclosures, and an ultra-quiet vacuum pump used for the configurable build plate system.

AON3D Expands Sales Globally, Exhibiting at Formnext
The new AON M2+ is set to begin shipping to businesses and resellers across the European Union and beyond later this year. One can learn more about the AON M2+ High Temperature 3D Printer or see it in person at Formnext 2022, where the AON M2+ will be printing Advanced Thermoplastic Polyimide (PI), a new 3D4Makers filament with outstanding properties.
