Plastics Industry Awards in London: |
A particularly important way to identify benchmarks is to be involved in the international mould-making awards, in which the best mouldmakers compete with one another and present solutions at the highest level. The discussions and close cooperation with the award participants and organisers provides us with important first-hand information for our own design and development activities and also gives us inspiration for new products and further developments.
The winners were announced at this year's Plastics Industry Awards in London, which is supported by HASCO Internorm/Daventry. The honour went to Advanced Plastics Limited and Agemasparka as Supplier Partnership - Toolmaker.
In the German competition "Excellence in Production", organised by the WZL (Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering) of RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer Institute of Plastics Processing (IPT), 11 finalists made it into the last round. This year's "mould design of the year" and the winners in the various categories were then chosen by representatives from science, politics, trade associations and industry.
As a specialist for standard mould units and hot runners, HASCO very much supports these two important awards. Being able to cooperate closely with the best in the industry is, for HASCO, both a motivation and an honour. The entire HASCO team warmly congratulates all the winners and finalists.
