At PLASTPOL, being held in Kielce (Poland), from 23 to 26 May 2023, Moretto is presenting the latest innovations dedicated to the plastics processing industry focusing on energy efficiency, sustainability and high technological content.
Moretto presence in Poland dates back in 2009 when the company set up its plant in Czestochowa. The Polish branch consists in more than ten thousand square meters plant including offices, production dept., warehouse and showroom. A progressive growth that responds to the company's desire to meet the growing demand and guarantee a qualified presence, a training center and a reference point ever closer to the customer.
DGM 20 |
New solutions for micro dosing
The new DGM 20 has been designed to meet the needs of all plastics processors who have to dose very small percentages of material. The innovative hopper design optimises a consistent mass flow for steady dosing and highest accuracy in any conditions. The VIS (Vibration Immunity System) overcomes one of the critical issues of the gravimetric dosing - vibrations - enabling them to be installed on the processing machines.
Efficient drying for both small and large throughput
The correct execution of the drying phase is essential to generate high quality products. Drying is the Moretto core business and according to this, it has developed several cutting-edge solutions such as X Comb, the super compact mini dryer suitable for lower throughput of technical polymers. Fully electric (it does not require compressed air), it is specifically designed to efficiently treat very hygroscopic technical polymers, particularly for critical industrial sectors such as medical, optical and electronics.

Moretto mini dryers: small size, high performance
Moretto mini dryers are suitable for the treatment of technical polymers in the moulding of complex components serving demanding sectors such as medical, optical, electronics and telephony.
Thanks to their small size, they can be installed directly on the mouth of the processing machine. The dryer switches on setting only two parameters: polymer type and hourly throughput.
Standard features of the range are the anti-stress system that prevents over-drying of the polymer and the OTX hopper, which increases and completes the dryer performance, creating a high-energy efficient solution.
These and other innovative solutions are currently being exhibited at PLASTPOL.
