On July 22, 2023, NETZSCH Group locations from Europe and Africa celebrated an unforgettable event to mark the company's 150th anniversary at the impressive Motorworld Munich. Around 3,000 colleagues and their companions witnessed a historic moment as they experienced a celebration of togetherness and success under a white and blue sky.

The event began with a warm welcome for all guests who had traveled to Munich by plane, train, coach or private car. Numerous hostesses were already looking after the well-being of the participants in the hotels. On Saturday, 45 shuttle buses took the guests to the event location, which covered an impressive area of more than 17,000 square meters. Greeted by the Global Management Team, the shareholder families and the Egertaler brass band from Selb, the guests entered the NETZSCH Plaza. A large beer garden with culinary delicacies of German and Austrian cuisine - covered by a breathtaking Magic Sky. Of course, the obligatory tapping of the barrel was not to be missed. Ozapft is!
The opening ceremony in the 5,000 square meter market hall set the stage for a varied program. In six languages, the Global Management Team around CEOs Moritz NETZSCH, Paul NETZSCH, Jens Niessner as well as Ingo Rädisch (CEO of the Grinding & Dispersing Business Unit), Dr. Jürgen Blumm (CEO of the Analyzing & Testing Business Unit) and Andreas Denker (CEO of the Pumps & Systems Business Unit) warmly welcomed the guests. An emotional opening film took those present on a journey through the international anniversary events that had already taken place in India, North America, South America, South East Asia & Oceania, and China. Followed by an entertaining speech of the CEOs, the four beatboxers of the band "Razzzones" took over the stage and performed the song "Auf uns" by Andreas Burani, which was especially rewritten for NETZSCH.

Guests had the opportunity to explore the expansive grounds and participate in numerous activities and entertainment during the event. From sports games such as ice hockey speed cage and Maßkrug curling to cultural performances by magicians, street art artists and jugglers - there was something for everyone.
The exhibition on NETZSCH history was particularly impressive, with pictures and found objects documenting the development of the company over the years. Those who wanted to know more about the company's future plans after the opening speech were able to visit Moritz NETZSCH and Paul NETZSCH at the NETZSCH Live Talk.
The culinary diversity of the event reflected the global presence of the NETZSCH Group. A food truck lane invited employees and their companions on a culinary journey, where they could sample dishes from different countries - from vegan and vegetarian delicacies to traditional specialties.
In the evening hours, the guests again followed the call of the hostesses & actors towards the market hall for another highlight of the evening. After a short interview by the CEOs, the colleagues saw the new anniversary film for the first time - to thunderous applause. With a "Cheers" from the CEOs to the global NETZSCH family and the lighting of the confetti cannons, the exuberant party started with the Razzzones, the party band "Geile Zeit" from Selb and DJane Beatrix, who thrilled the crowd with her rousing violin parts.
The anniversary event in Munich became an unforgettable event that celebrated the close ties and cohesion of the worldwide NETZSCH family. Cheers to NETZSCH and to a successful future!
