Back in 1998, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag started production in Ningbo. Since then, as the first European injection molding machine brand in the Chinese market, the company has consistently manufactured high-performance machines. Now, Sumitomo (SHI) Demag has further expanded the facilities to meet the evolving needs of Asian customers.
Gerd Liebig noted, "The Chinese market is unparalleled for us, with its vast scale and rapidly evolving demands. Our decision to establish Demag in China has yielded incredible results. We've successfully delivered over 10,000 injection molding machines in China, a testament to our local presence and adaptability."
Managing Director of Demag China, Pietro Scattarreggia, affirmed, "Our expanded factory signifies our commitment to high-end solutions in China and Asia. We will continue our pursuit of excellence, focusing on all-electric IMM and large-size, high-performance products and technologies."
