As of January 2024, Wolfgang Tarrach will be leaving his tents in Slovakia. Wolfgang Tarrach has been with DESMA for 26 years, including 13 years as Purchasing Manager in Fridingen and 9 years as Commercial Managing Director at DESMA Slovakia. Mr. Tarrach shared the management with Branislav Pavlik, who has also been with DESMA for many years and who will be managing the business as sole Managing Director from January.

Last week, a very personal and festive farewell ceremony took place in Slovakia with all employees and DESMA management from Fridingen. It was clear from the reactions and words on both sides that it will not be an easy farewell and that Mr. Tarrach is very much appreciated by his employees and will be ‘missed’ in the future.
Mr. Tarrach will nevertheless remain loyal to Slovakia in a supporting role as a member of the Supervisory Board and will drive forward the strategic and operational purchasing activities in Fridingen and develop a targeted global procurement strategy across all locations.
DESMA managing team would also like to thank Wolfgang Tarrach for 9 years of outstanding performance as Managing Director.
