In the German award "Excellence in Production", which HASCO supported this year as the main sponsor, the winners of the four categories were presented with their awards at a ceremony by the organisers, namely the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University and the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology (IPT) in Aachen. Among the category winners were Giebeler GmbH / Eschenburg, Technoform Insulation Solutions Tooling GmbH / Kassel, Primaform AG / Thun (Switzerland) and BMW AG / Munich and Dingolfing, which also qualified as the overall winner.
This year's "Plastics Industry Award" in London for participants from Great Britain and Ireland was supported by the British subsidiary HASCO Internorm / Daventry. VENTETE and Adreco Plastics won the "supplier partnership toolmaker" category sponsored by HASCO.
