New Era︱Technological innovation accelerates industrial innovation
Recently, new productivity has become a hot search in the market. Nearly ten emerging and future industries related to new productivity, including new energy vehicles, emerging hydrogen energy, new materials, innovative medicines, biomanufacturing, commercial aerospace, low-altitude economy, etc., have received widespread attention. Emerging fields are booming with unlimited innovations. Taking new energy vehicles as an example, in 2023, the production and sales of China's new energy vehicle is increased by 35.8% and 37.9% year-on-year respectively. The increment of the exports for the year is 67.1%, accounting for more than 60% of the global market.
Behind industrial innovation, strong support from upstream suppliers is crucial, including new plastics and rubber materials, new equipment, and new processes. Navigating through the showcase of cutting-edge technology at the CHINAPLAS 2024, visitors witness a plenty of innovative solutions that excels the boundaries of downstream applications: silicone special elastomers for new energy vehicles; materials facilitating lightweighting, efficient thermal management, and recyclability in solid-state battery packs; halogen-free flame-retardant reinforced PA66 employed in high-voltage connectors; POE, silane grafted olefin polymers, and light stabilizers supporting the innovation of photovoltaic adhesive films; ETFE film enhancing the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic modules; solar automatic dies; medical-grade PLA and PEEK 3D filament extrusion equipment; biodegradable bone nail injection molding technology; customized recycling solutions for packaging; PHA multi-product special modified materials; and high-strength and high-stiffness materials used in aerospace, aviation, and rail transportation.
Over 3,800 machinery exhibits, more than 1,500 raw material suppliers, and 200 world/Asian debut technology projects gather in one place, making the exhibition a global stage of ground-breaking technologies.
