Sumitomo (SHI) Demag team is excited to share that their commitment to sustainability has taken a significant leap forward with the installation of 1,038 solar modules at the company's production plant in Wiehe, where the small and mid-sized all-electric IntElect machines are produced.
The solar power plant has a capacity of 600 kWp, which, under perfect weather conditions, allows Sumitomo (SHI) Demag production facility to become a complete self-supplier of electric power. This investment significantly reduces the company's environmental impact and translates to an annual reduction of approximately 410 tons of CO₂ emissions!
