A few days ago, the northern German plastics trade fair Kuteno took place in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. For the German machine manufacturer BOY this event was of great importance.
BOY was very well represented with six injection moulding machines from its product programme.

The company was able to demonstrate its many years of expertise in compactness, efficiency and performance, as well as CO2-savings in the clamping force range from 63 to 1,250 kN in numerous discussions.
The BOY booth received an impressive response, with almost twice as many visitors as at the last trade fair. Numerous interesting and challenging discussions took place and the positive feedback on the six injection moulding machines exhibited was overwhelming. The trade fair has established itself as a core element of the industry in the north and the atmosphere was extremely positive.
BOY's successful participation in the trade fair shows that the company is on the right path. The huge number of visitors and the positive feedback confirm the quality of the injection moulding machines presented and the strong positioning in the market. The positive atmosphere in the industry underlines the confidence and optimism for the future.
In particular, the new compact portal-handling-system for the BOY 35 E attracted great interest and a correspondingly positive response from visitors. With its simple ‘modular design’, this handling system demonstrated that even complex removal situations can be solved excellently at low cost. The possibility of a simple programming of the removal by the BOY-integrated handling control was evaluated extremely positively and means that no additional control system is required.
Dirk Steinbach, the responsible Sales representative, commented: ‘I am overwhelmed by the huge and unexpected rush at this trade fair! The discussions were extremely positive so that a very strong upward trend for the second half of 2024 can be expected!’
