FLEXflow one: the new servo driven stand-alone solution
The further development of FLEXflow Line is now available. FLEXflow One: the electric servo driven valve gate system where control unit is not required anymore.
FLEXflow One system includes an electrical box assembled in the hot runner system. The electrical motor, used to control the valve pin movement, improves the injection process and provides better quality part performance.
All the process parameters can be set by an ESI - External Smart Interface. Among the benefits of this electrical solution: reliable process, clean operation with repeatable results, easy connection, ease of use, footprint reduction and process traceability.
The new ECOflow line: it’s time to save energy
Available soon in the market, is our new ECOflow Line hot runner system. This new environmentally-friendly technology assures a significant energy efficiency and a reduced system size, considering the weight and volume of the manifold have been lowered in over-all size and energy consumed is therefore reduced. These features also reduce the time necessary to reach a uniform and stationary operating state.
With the new ECOflow hot runner systems, HRSflow has been able to reduce energy consumption by an average of 25%.
100% of our systems undergo a thorough thermal analysis simulation to optimize final performance and to guarantee a uniform thermal distribution with reference to the temperature range at which the polymer must be processed.
New technical update: HP Gate, 3-layer tip, pressure block, thread safe kit
- HP Gate is a new gate suitable to process technical materials such as PMMA. The new geometry simplifies the seat in the mold. This feature provides for, an optimal result determined by the nozzle and not by the mold. Among the main benefits of this solution are: improved gate quality, no stagnate material between tip and mold, simplification of mold cut out and a wider process window.
- 3 Layer Tip is a special coating-free tip. The new tip is made of three materials, one of which is a copper bushing in the middle to improve thermal conductivity.
Thanks to the use of a special steel and the removal of any coating, this solution ensures wear reduction of the tip, elimination of black spots on the molded parts and an optimal mechanical resistance.
- Pressure block is made with special low heat conductible materials. It is positioned between the hot runner system and the mold to increase the plate stiffness under load, keeping an optimal thermal profile along the whole hot runner system. The main feature is the flexible positioning without negatively affecting the thermal profile of the hot runner system.
- Thread safe kit is the special bushing positioned between nozzle and manifold thread, in order to accommodate easy nozzle removal when processing materials such as PMMA and PC. It eliminates the seizing and the thread between nozzle and the manifold allowing for simple removal of the nozzle from the manifold for routine maintenance.
