State-of-the-art technology meets efficiency

State-of-the-art technology meets efficiency

News 04.12.2025

From 20 to 22 January 2026, BOY's new Swiss representative, BOY Schweiz GmbH, will be exhibiting for the first time at the Swiss Plastics Expo in Lucerne. At the BOY Schweiz booth, visitors will be able to experience the capabilities of modern, compact injection moulding machines live. The newly founded BOY Schweiz GmbH marks the start of a new chapter. The company combines customer proximity and many years of technical experience with a clear focus on service and sustainability.

BOY 35 Electric

BOY 35 Electric

In addition to the very compact BOY XS E, which was specially designed for micro injection moulding applications, visitors can see the new BOY 35 Electric for themselves. BOY's smallest electric injection moulding machine to date will be demonstrating its performance and efficiency live at the trade fair booth – a vivid example of precise, sustainable and economical plastics processing. The electric machine with a clamping force of 350 kN impresses with its precise injection, high dynamics and reduced cycle times thanks to parallel movements. With the smallest footprint in its class, it fits perfectly into any production environment.

The new universal injection unit with patented back pressure measurement (available screw diameters from 12 mm to 32 mm) ensures high process accuracy. The two-plate clamping unit and the lubricant-free mould area offer optimal conditions for clean applications.

Cable ties

At the Swiss Plastics Expo in Lucerne, BOY will be presenting modern injection moulding technology with the BOY 35 Electric – live and in a practical setting. Innovative, reusable cable ties are produced, impressively combining sustainability and functionality.

Roman Gnos, founder and managing director, was responsible for the technical support of BOY machines in Switzerland at Thomatech for almost ten years. With the founding of BOY Switzerland, he is focusing on a lean, modern organisation that works closely with customers while guaranteeing the highest technical quality and innovative strength. ‘With these two exhibits, we are showing what BOY stands for today: modern technology, compact design and maximum precision – ideal for Swiss production companies. I am very pleased to be able to present these technologies to you in person at our booth.’
