At Plastindia 2026 (5–10 February in New Delhi), BOY's Indian representative Karan Engineering Co. will once again be showcasing a high-precision silicone application on a BOY 50 E. The compact injection moulding machine with a clamping force of 500 kN will demonstrate its capabilities in the demanding processing of liquid silicone rubber (LSR).

The BOY 50 E is equipped with a servo motor pump drive and the Procan ALPHA® 4 control system. The system is complemented by a fully electric metering and mixing system that has been specially developed for the precise processing of LSR materials. The live presentation demonstrates the performance of BOY technology in the field of liquid silicone applications – especially for demanding components in the automotive and electronics sectors. High-precision seals for automotive connectors are injection moulded.
The injection moulding machine with a free-standing two-platen clamping unit impresses with its precision, smooth running and compact design. With a footprint of only 3.32 m², the BOY 50 E requires significantly less space than conventional three-platen designs. A wide range of available plasticising units for thermoplastics, thermosets, LSR and elastomers – with screw diameters from 18 to 42 mm – enables flexible adaptation to a wide variety of processing tasks.
S. Sundaram, owner and CEO of Karan Engineering Co., emphasises BOY's strong position in the Indian market: "BOY has been a leader in liquid silicone processing in India for many years. With a market share of over 80% in the field of LSR applications, our customers benefit particularly from the precision and reliability of the E series. The live presentation at Plastindia will help us to further expand our range in critical applications such as automotive, electronics, medical technology, household appliances and aerospace."
The team at Karan Engineering Co. is looking forward to welcoming numerous visitors to the BOY booth during the six-day trade fair.
