| Eletta Ultra, made up to 70% of recyced content for its aesthetics parts, is the newest example of how sustainability and the circular economy can coexist also in high-performance premium products. |
The award recognises outstanding results in the use of recycled materials. Starting with the selection of the most suitable materials, the project serves as a shining example of how even a premium product can be sustainable without compromising on performance, whilst ensuring industrial scalability and full alignment with the principles of the circular economy as applied to the home appliance sector.
A winning example of circular economy in action
Eletta Ultra was selected as Product of the Year in the Automotive, Electrical or Electronic category thanks to its ability to combine advanced performance and premium design with a more sustainable approach.
The project is the result of a close collaboration between Sirmax and De’Longhi. By working side by side, the two companies focused on the development of circular plastics derived from post-consumer recycled content. This achievement clearly demonstrates how innovation and environmental responsibility can successfully coexist in high-end consumer products.

| Green Isoter by Sirmax was used for the coffee machine’s aesthetic parts, featuring up to 70% post consumer recycled content and demonstrating circular ABS material innovation. |
Through this approach, Sirmax and De’Longhi transform recycled plastics sourced from post-consumer WEEE streams into advanced materials suitable for non-food-contact aesthetic parts, offering a wide range of surface finishes, including textured, matte, and glossy solutions. These recycled materials are engineered to meet the demanding technical and industrial requirements of the home appliance sector, ensuring consistent processing and long-term reliability.
Circular plastics designed for performance and sustainability
Many components of Eletta Ultra are manufactured using Green Isoter - the high-performance ABS compound containing up to 70% post-consumer recycled content derived from end-of-life electronic equipment.
Developed according to specific aesthetic and technical requirements, the material guarantees mechanical strength and thermal resistance. This solution demonstrates how circular plastics, supported by an integrated and collaborative development model, can play a key role in accelerating the transition toward a more sustainable and efficient circular economy.
