Energy efficiency is a topic of great relevance, also because it has become a primary goal for every company to achieve and in particular for all energy-intensive production processes. Large industrial groups must also demonstrate that they are implementing a serious policy of energy conservation, in line with European directives and protocols, such as Kyoto, which can be implemented through the mechanism of purchasing Energy Efficiency Securities, better known as white certificates.
Piovan, which for decades has been developing products and solutions to offer their customers added value in terms of fuel efficiency, in 2012 established Energys to follow closely any company willing to streamline their production process, achieving real savings energy.
Energys, is an ESCo (Energy Service Company), active exclusively in the industrial sector and officially recognised by the Electrical Services Manager (GSE). With a team of specialized engineers, it follows customers all the way towards obtaining white certificates and offers a range of services ranging from energy audits to monitoring systems.
"With Energys, we wanted to give substance to an approach that has always characterised Piovan, the orientation of the company towards innovative solutions that improve energy efficiency for our customers" explains Nicola Piovan, president of the group.
Together with Confindustria Venezia (The General Confederation of Italian Industry), it was born the idea to offer a moment of insight into this topic, combining the equally strategic areas of cogeneration and trigeneration. From here a workshop is to be held entitled "Energy efficiency and cogeneration: Integrated solutions for reducing consumption" which will take place on the 5th of June 2017, at Piovan's Cannaregio hall in Santa Maria di Sala.
Talking about cogeneration will be engineer Massimiliano Francone, Head of Large Customer Sales at Enel Energia.
