Using slides, it is possible to produce injection mouldings with demanding geometries and complex undercuts. Precise and reliable positioning of the slides is essential here.
The new HASCO Smartlock Z1897/... has been developed especially for use in injection moulds. For the first time, it unites the advantages of a slide retainer with those of a limit switch in a single component.
The friction lock, with a retention force of 7.7 to 12.1 kg, and the electric position detector permits the risk-free use of slides. Precise end positioning is thus always guaranteed, together with continuous monitoring of the stop position. This protects the mould against damage through premature ejection movements.
The HASCO SmartLock is delivered together with the necessary mounting material, including a pre-assembled cable, and can thus be easily installed and is immediately ready for use. The glass fibre reinforced plastic with a steel body permits service temperatures of up to 120°C.
