Brazilian company installs its first complete line, with the CCM48 as its centerpiece. Customer’s decision to invest - and grow its CSD operations - stems from the exceptional consistent quality provided by integrated Computer Vision systems
“Incorporating technology to provide our customers with better solutions”. That’s how Hugo Costa, CEO of Milênio Componentes Plasticos, sees this acquisition of the first new complete SACMI line, a purchase that takes the already-solid partnership between SACMI and this Brazilian company to the next level.
Milênio Componentes Plasticos, a key player in the field of cap molding technologies, reached a major milestone in 2023 by introducing SACMI compression technology into its closure manufacturing operations. This consisted of the acquisition of its first 48-cavity compression press.
Given all the advantages of compression and the remarkable output capacity, the customer has long sought to install a complete line with the acclaimed CCM48 compression press. This strategic step now sees Milênio Componentes Plasticos take a huge qualitative leap forwards, demonstrating its commitment to nothing less than excellence and the full satisfaction of the needs of the global cap molding market.
Reliability, productivity, consistent quality
The customer greatly values the outstanding reliability, high productivity and repeatable quality, not to mention the integrated Computer Vision systems that ensure superb finished product quality. “We’re currently expanding”, explains Hugo Costa, “and SACMI is playing a key role in that fast-paced growth”. For more than 15 years, Milênio Componentes Plasticos has been a dynamic market player, specializing in the manufacture of caps and closures for containers. The company's mission is clear: to provide tailor-made packaging solutions that maximize customer satisfaction.
New environment-friendly CSD cap
Thanks to this new line, Milênio Componentes Plasticos will produce a lightweight PCO1881 neck CSD cap for AB1881CSD soft drinks that weighs just over 2 grams.
Integrated Computer Vision systems
The line features a CVS system, produced by SACMI Computer Vision, which performs ultra-high speed in-line quality control.
This latest order strengthens the partnership between SACMI and Milênio on the strategic Brazilian market where SACMI delivers fast, far-reaching assistance via its SACMI do Brazil offices.
