"Shaping the future together" was the motto of this year's Milan Plastics Trade Fair. Both, the German machine manufacturer BOY and its Italian representation ST.A.TE. Technologies srl. could meet this call. The long-standing partner of BOY has been operating very successfully on the Italian market for many years. Especially in the Elastomer sector, Francesco Valsecchi, owner of ST.A.TE, has a very good reputation in this transnational industry.
On its worldwide trade fair tour BOY made a successful stopover in Milan |
With regard to the processing technology a special novelty was presented at its booth: A BOY 35 E was equipped with a rheometer. Amongst others this measuring system determines the flow properties of the raw rubber and enables the user to analyze the material properties before the actual parts production takes place. Thus, a reproducible parts production is guaranteed, in which the Elastomer-parts produced with this material have exactly the required component quality.
From the smallest desktop injection molding machine BOY XXS with 63 kN clamping force and the four-tie-bar BOY 35 E up to the compact BOY 60 E with 600 kN clamping force, the two companies showed a representative cross-section of the product range of Injection Moulding Machines in Milan. Alfred Schiffer, Managing Partner of BOY, took the opportunity to introduce the Italian trade visitors the variety of BOY Injection Moulding Machines. Whether it was the energy-efficient servo-electric drive, the advantages of an integrated double pump or questions on the subject of micro-injection moulding, the two company owners and the trade fair team knew how to convince. "Our performance at the Plast Milan was perfect. Due to the fruitful discussions and the many new interested parties we have to work up a lot of positive issues within the next few months" was Francesco Valsecchi’s satisfying result of trade fair. He is already looking forward to the next Plast in three years.
