With the new A5800/… mould memory, HASCO is taking a key step in the direction of digitised production. Since the start of the year, the Hot Runner Technology division has been equipping all H4400/… hot halves with this robust 16 GB data storage unit. System and order-related data for the individual processes are archived all together in the memory and can be called up at any time via the USB 2.0 interface.
The practical benefits: during production, users can have easy access to drawings, parts lists or measurement reports without any major effort. There is no need for frequent consultations with other departments or with the supplier.
In the case of a repairs, immediate action can be taken. The A5800/... mould memory clearly simplifies data handing and saves a considerable amount of time in the production process.
The mould memory also permits easy archiving of the customer's own information, such as injection parameters, and thus ensures full traceability of production data for quality assurance purposes.
The special design of the A5800/... allows it to be flush mounted, without any protrusions, in the injection mould or hot half. The system is designed for ambient temperatures of up to 100°C and is reliably protected against splashes and soiling by a two-component protective flap with a TPE seal.
During the introductory period for this integral data storage unit, HASCO Hot Runner Technology is mounting the mould memory in the hot half free-of-charge for its customers and providing instruction in its use.
