HTI Plastics announced it has installed two new Sodick presses, a 40 ton and 100 ton injection molding presses. With the addition of the two new presses HTI now has injection-molding presses ranging in size from 40 tons to 1,800 tons. The new presses will be used to substantially expand the company’s services in a variety of areas for the benefit of HTI customers.
“At HTI we try to stay on the cutting edge of technology, in order to continually improve and for the benefit of our customers. The investment in our new presses provides us with an increased capacity, as well as the ability to grow by adding to our capabilities,” said HTI Plastics President, Troy Just. “It is yet another example of our commitment to producing injection-molded plastic products of the highest quality.”
The new presses will help to accommodate HTI Plastics’ growth in the sporting goods industry, as well as gives HTI the ability to accommodate the increasing demand the company is experiencing in all industries HTI serves. The new presses allow HTI to grow in the smaller component/shot market.
As a division of PCE Inc., HTI Plastics benefits from the corporate commitment to capital investments in injection molding equipment that help maintain high product quality, while improving efficiencies and capacity.
