Muller Technology Colorado Inc., a global supplier of molds and automation solutions for sustainable thin-wall packaging, has recently named Thom Mandl as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). The appointment was announced by Thomas Federer, Group CEO of Muller Technology.
Mandl is a seasoned operations executive with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing. He has held leadership roles in production, engineering, quality, continuous improvement, and, more recently, general management. His early career experience was with two global market leaders, Ford and Procter & Gamble, where he gained valuable experience and skills that he successfully applied at smaller manufacturers in a wide variety of industries. Most recently, he was Director of Operations at Summit Bodyworks, and Chief Operating Officer at Wadsworth Control Systems.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University, and an MBA in International Business from Regent University. He has earned professional certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, and Supply Chain Management.
