Around 80 customers from the German-Franconia region enjoyed exciting topics centred around tool and mouldmaking at the HASCO Day held in the delightful atmosphere of Thurnau Castle.
An introductory company presentation provided a basis for lively discussions with a look at interesting standard mould components and hot runner innovations, tips on using the HASCO webshop and digital catalogue and practically-orientated CAD/CAM applications.
The main focus was on VISI software, one of the most widely used CAD/CAM systems in tool and mouldmaking. Numerous HASCO standard mould components can be called up as CAD models and readily integrated in a design by drag and drop. The software is noted for its high-performance split and analysis functions, and the parametric designs of the models are of practical benefit. Parts lists are generated automatically.
A further highlight of the HASCO Day was the guest lecture by PlastSolutions. As a partner for solutions and continuing education in plastics injection moulding, PlastSolutions set out the potential and challenges that exist for plastics parts, materials and their processors as a result of electromobility. Special attention was paid to trends and market developments in the electrification of the automotive powertrain, together with the resulting plastics engineering challenges and consequences for mouldmaking.
In the course of the HASCO Day, participants’ requirements, expectations and wishes were taken up with a view to the future. “It is important for us to supply market-orientated new developments and services so that we can offer our customers the very best performance”, says Daniel Kessler, Area Sales Manager / South Germany.
In this respect, HASCO stands out clearly from its competitors. More than 100,000 products are consistently oriented to the requirements of modern mouldmaking. HASCO supplies precisely the products that are needed to build high-quality moulds and tools quickly and efficiently. One of HASCO’s basic principles is to supply not as much as possible but only exactly what the customer really needs. By focusing on these core competences and thus on its strengths, all the parties involved enjoy the benefits.
