Focusing on the importance of low energy consumption

News 22.02.2023

Matjaž Teršar, Managing Director of UNIPLAT, comments this event in Celje as follows: "At this year's fair we will focus on the importance of low energy consumption. Electricity purchase costs have also risen sharply in Slovenia in the last year and they are among the most expensive within Europe. The BOY injection moulding machines with their economical and efficient servo drives give users and company owners the proper answers for the modernisation of their machinery. During the MIS our top-selling model, the BOY 35 E, produces PE bottle caps on an eight-cavity mould in a cycle time of 9 seconds with extremely low energy consumption”.

With a footprint of only 1.96 m², the very compact injection moulding machine has a clamping force of 350 kN and a maximum injection volume of 76.5 cm³. Like all machines in the E-series, the BOY 35 E is equipped with a dynamically-efficient operating servo drive, a four-bar two-platen clamping system and a swivel-out injection unit. Five sizes of injection units with six different screw diameters from 14 - 32 mm offer a wide range of equipment options. The BOY 35 E is frequently utilized for the production of technical precision parts. A wide variety of thermoplastics, elastomers, silicones and thermosets as well as metals and ceramics (PIM technology) can be processed without any problems.

The entire trade fair team of the Slovenian BOY representation is looking forward to the Industry Fair in April and hopes to establish many new contacts at the event in Celje. UNIPLAST also expects a large number of promising discussions with its satisfied customers.
