BOY will present five machine types of its product range at the Kuteno in Rheda-Wiedenbrück. From 9th to 11th May, the specialist of injection moulding machines based in Neustadt-Fernthal will demonstrate its long-standing core competence in compact and energy-efficient machines for the plastics processing industry.
During the three days event a BOY 35 E (350 kN clamping force) will produce three-part coat pegs with a family-mould at the BOY booth. The four-tie-bar injection moulding machine is equipped with an energy-saving servo drive and is particularly suitable for the production of technical parts. The BOY 35 E is equipped with a swivel-out injection unit and a servo-hydraulically driven, large-dimensioned two-platen clamping system. Five different sizes of injection units with six screw diameters from 14 - 32 mm offer a wide range of applications.
With the auxiliary injection unit BOY 2C XS which is also exhibited at the BOY booth, any conventional injection moulding machine can be quickly and cost-effectively transformed into a multi-component production tool. Maximum injection pressures of up to 3,128 bar and injection volumes of up to 8.0 ccm³ can be achieved with the BOY 2C XS. The injection unit with its own control system, is equipped with swivel-castors, allowing a flexible use with changing locations even in small production halls.
BOY's presence will be complemented by a total of three machines at the booths of partner companies. A BOY XS at the booth of the University of Hanover processes a re-granulate into test rods in a cassette mould. The material manufacturer WIS produces shopping trolley chips from a PP-Recyclate on a BOY XXS. The company HNP-M demonstrates the processing of liquid colours via a dosing system on a BOY 25 E.
Andreas Scheideler, Head of Domestic Sales and Customer Advisor Dirk Steinbach are well prepared for the discussions expected. "The Kuteno is just as important for the north of Germany as the Fakuma is for the south", says Andreas Scheideler, outlining BOY's increased presence at this year's trade fair. Not only BOY's larger trade fair booth, but also the high machine quota at Kuteno with five interesting applications are boosting BOY’s hope and anticipation to the event in Rheda-Wiedenbrück.
