The North German plastics trade fair Kuteno in Rheda-Wiedenbrück has ended not so long ago with a great three-day response. This event was also extremely successful for the German machine manufacturer BOY.
BOY exhibition booth at Kuteno 2023 |
With no less than six injection moulding machines from its product range, BOY was very well represented for the mostly supra-regional trade visitors from the plastics industry. In numerous discussions, BOY was able to substantiate its long-standing core competence in compactness, efficiency and performance diversity in the clamping force range from 63 to 1,250 kN with interesting applications.
The two exhibits, a four-bar BOY 35 E with a clamping force of 350 kN and a floor space of only 1.96 m², as well as the flexible BOY 2C S additional injection unit, were just as convincing as the four injection moulding machines on the partner stands of the medium-sized mechanical engineering company from Neustadt-Fernthal.
In addition to the live production of plastic parts on the BOY injection moulding machines in the exhibition halls on site, the application focus was on the problem-free processing of recyclates / regranulates. This was just as evident at the BOY XXS on the stand of WIS Kunststoffe GmbH as it was at the BOY XS of Leibniz Universität Hannover. The production of parts from recycled fishing nets on a BOY 25 E at the stand of Schuette Consult GmbH & Co. KG also picked up on the current trend towards sustainable materials. HNP-Mikrosystem GmbH demonstrated the processing of liquid colours via a dosing system and its fast flexibility for changing colourings on a BOY 25 E.
