From April 23rd to 26th, CHINAPLAS 2024 is being grandly held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai, China. YIZUMI is attending this globally influential industry event as scheduled. During the exhibition, the new production workshop of YIZUMI China Wujiang Factory is also opened to global customers.
On April 22nd, many visitors attended the opening ceremony to experience the new workshop's charm firsthand and jointly explore the upgrading path of YIZUMI advanced molding manufacturing.
The recently completed workshop is the third phase of the project and an important part of YIZUMI China Wujiang Factory. It covers 18,000 square meters and will produce two-platen injection molding machines, vertical injection molding machines, and other machinery. The fourth phase of the project is currently being planned.
In recent years, the YIZUMI China Wujiang Factory has been increasingly expanded to provide significant production capacity to customers in East China. The factory is a high-end molding equipment manufacturing base built by YIZUMI in East China, with a total investment around one billion Yuan. It mainly focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of 500-9000 tonnage two-platen injection molding machines, vertical injection molding machines, robot automation systems, additive manufacturing equipment, and other machinery. Its annual production capacity can reach up to 3,000 units. It includes a workshop of about 26,000 square meters for two-platen injection molding machines and vertical injection molding machines and a production workshop of 10,000 square meters for robot automation integrated systems.
Furthermore, it is a modern factory built on the principles of lean manufacturing and a comprehensive regional base in East China, integrating research and development, manufacturing, sales, service, and other functions. Meanwhile, the ultra-heavy-duty workshop with advanced infrastructure can accomplish the manufacturing and mold trial tasks of future ten-thousand-plus tonnage equipment. The factory focuses on the concept of green park construction to accelerate and improve efficiency in the implementation of the "Dual-Carbon" strategy, forming a high-end molding equipment industrial park to provide local customers with better products and services.
The operation of the workshop will bring strong production momentum into YIZUMI, and will also enable YIZUMI to provide better and more advanced services to customers in East China. In this regard, Mr. James Zhang, deputy managing director of YIZUMI and general manager of the injection molding machine division, said: "The operation will make YIZUMI more confident in providing customers with high-quality products in the competitive market. In the future, YIZUMI will also provide more flexible and diversified services to accurately meet customer requirements and better empower global customers."
The operation of the workshop is an important step of YIZUMI's strategic layout in East China and will play an important role in improving the research and industrialization of large-scale two-platen injection molding machines, promoting the manufacturing of injection molding machines, facilitating the industrialization of robot industrial applications, and effectively fostering the development of the local high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
