The ZAHORANSKY Mold & Automation Days 2025 took place from March 17 to 28, bringing a total of 185 visitors, divided into 60 visitor groups, to Freiburg. The focus here was on an extensive program aimed at experts from the medical technology, oral care, plastics processing sectors and beyond. Live demonstrations, where visitors were able to obtain information directly at the respective machine, as well as personal exchange opportunities offered guests numerous opportunities to learn more about new manufacturing technologies, automation solutions and smart production concepts.

Innovative exhibits
One of the highlights was the presentation of two exciting exhibits: a PRIMA Z syringe with integrated AI solution and a PRIMA Z vial in the new medical design. The PRIMA Z syringe integrates artificial intelligence directly into the manufacturing process, allowing processes to be adapted more quickly to changing conditions and making production more efficient overall. The PRIMA Z vial in the new medical design again clearly demonstrates how a well thought-out design can bring decisive advantages in order to meet the special requirements of medical technology. Visitors to the Mold & Automation Days had the opportunity to see both machines live in action and to discuss technical details and possible areas of application directly with experts.
Professional exchange
In addition to the machine presentations, there was an information area where visitors could exchange ideas with ZAHORANSKY employees from the after-sales and sales departments. The focus here was on questions relating to mold making and its continuous further development. The role of automation and AI in the manufacture of medical technology products or components for brushes and other consumer goods was also highlighted. Podcaster Christof Layher from the “ChaosHacker Talk” format also took part in the Mold & Automation Days. He accompanied the event on film as part of a follow-me-around and recorded numerous impressions directly on site. The resulting video material will soon be published on YouTube. In addition, a podcast will also be published in which the details of modern production technologies will be explored in greater depth.
The numerous visitors drew a consistently positive conclusion: ZAHORANSKY was described as “one step ahead thanks to AI and integrated production”, while others particularly appreciated the “special eye for clever alternative solutions”. This feedback reflects the desire to constantly set new standards in an increasingly complex industry with dynamic requirements and trends.
The consistently positive response to the Mold & Automation Days 2025 illustrates the great importance that innovation and automation now have not only for medical technology, but for all of ZAHORANSKY’s target industries. It was not only the exhibits presented, but also the open dialog between experts, customers and other interested visitors that made the event a complete success.
