The WINTEC t-win hydraulic machine series is well known today in the Asian markets such as white goods, household appliances and car production. |
Aiming before all at quality, productivity and energy efficiency, WINTEC subsidiary of ENGEL based in Changzhou, China, manufactures injection molding machines for standard applications. WINTEC equipment is distributed in certain emerging markets, particularly Asian ones. The t-win hydraulic machine series launched only two years ago is established today in the Asian industries such as white goods, household appliances and car production. WINTEC machines are designed for standard large-scale production tasks with high process stability and quality requirements.
A high-performance 6,500 kN t-win 6500-3300 injection molding machine will be put on display during the whole week of K show this year. The machine will produce fiber-reinforced PP engine covers in one-cavity mold provided by the customer. The components, manufactured with a shot weight of 800 g, will be removed by an ENGEL viper 20 robot.
Thanks to the highly flexible C2 control unit, WINTEC machines allow for connection of numerous robot brands and types. The intuitive C2 unit lowers human error risk significantly, displaying the status of every machine component on a single 15-inch touchscreen. The operator can modify critical parameters conveniently on a quick adjustment page. The screen can be swiveled and its height adjusted ergonomically. Moreover, the C2 is roughly one-third more powerful compared to control units of other producers.
Sensitive mold protection and short dry cycles
As standard, the t-win series machines come with servowin servo hydraulics that reduce power requirement by 60+ % compared to traditional injection molding equipment. Further, the extreme energy efficiency of the series is ensured by optimized operation and design of the dual-platen clamping unit. Thanks to the linear guidance of the moving platen with zero contact between the platen and the tie-bars, friction is avoided and no lube oil is necessary in the mold area. The weight of the moving platen has been reduced, which contributes as well to the reduced power consumption.
The clamping unit design, created in Europe, keeps a perfect platen parallelism all along the service life of the machine. Hence, sensitive molds are protected from damage, while outstanding dynamic characteristics and short dry cycle times are attained. Optional support includes auxiliary ejector, core pull, or nozzle movements.
WINTEC offers injection molding machines of t-win series in six sizes for a clamping force range of 4,500…17,500 kN.
