In a context of great economic dynamism, ExpoSalao presented the 9th edition of Moldplás, the professionals’ trade fair for the plastics industry, which was held from November 8th to 11th in Batalha, Portugal.

At this exhibition for machines, raw materials and technology for moulds and plastics Piovan was also present. Innovations introduced to the Portuguese market were Easylink, the automatic coupling station which avoid cross-contamination of the plastic materials and the gravimetric batch blender Quantum 7, in a special configuration. The supervision software for the digital manufacturing, Winfactory 4.0 was available as demo version. Novelties for the industrial cooling with Easycool+, the innovative air-cooled compact chiller and DigitempEvo, the new flexible solution developed to heat and cool the process circuit of injection and blow moulding machines utilized in the plastics processing.
About MOLDPLAS 2017
The MOLDPLAS - Machinery, Equipment, Raw Materials and Technology for Molds and Plastics Show, which is held every two years, has exhausted its exhibition area in this edition, bringing together more than two hundred exhibitors.
In addition to the exhibition area, it hosted seminars and colloquia that were authentic spaces for reflection on some of the main themes that are currently a priority for the sector.
Organized by Exposalao, MOLDPLAS was supported by the National Association of Mold Industries (CEFAMOL), the Association of Metallurgical, Metal-Mechanical and Allied Industries of Portugal (AIMMAP) and the National Association of Metallurgical Enterprises.
