Injection moulding of 2-component handles for Gardena garden saws

Hard-soft combination: A two-component injection moulding machine produces handles for Gardena garden saws from PP (40% glass fibre-reinforced) and a soft-touch TPE (25% glass fibre-reinforced).

The hydraulic ALLROUNDER 570 S uses a 1+1-cavity mould and is equipped with a mobile robotic cell: the AGILUS six-axis robot, which moves on an additional linear axis transversely to the machine and removes the handles, transports them to a pad printing station and camera inspection and then sets them down on a conveyor belt.
